YWCA, Corpus Christi offers programs like:

 Fitness Connection for Seniors:

The Fitness Connection program is YWCA Corpus Christi’s flagship wellness initiative for adults aged 50 and older, open to both women and men. Designed to support holistic health—physical, mental, and emotional—it offers a full range of low- and higher-impact classes such as chair exercise, line dance, yoga, tai chi, aqua aerobics, as well as use of the cardio room, weight room, and therapy pools. Amenities include a 25-meter pool, full-court gym, sauna, and pickleball courts, offering participants social opportunities alongside fitness programming aimed at combating loneliness and cognitive decline.

YWTeen Program for Girls (Ages between 10-14)

The YWTeen Program serves girls between 10-14 years of age throughout Corpus Christi and nearby school districts. This character- and leadership-building program is delivered weekly in small groups with trained volunteer mentors (typically a 1:14 ratio), using structured curriculum and activities like drum circles, peer discussions, and creative exercises to foster self-confidence, empathy, anti-bullying skills, goal-setting, and positive social relationships.

Leadership Camps & Special Events: During summers, YWTeen participants can engage in special leadership camps, featuring multi-day workshops that cover group dynamics, leadership skills, multicultural communication, personal values, and career exploration — all offered free of charge with registration. Volunteers — called YWTeen Group Leaders — receive training and facilitate sessions at school campuses, guiding small groups through structured activities and discussion.
