As a part of Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15-October 15, YWCA Corpus Christi presents an annual Diez y Seis Forum on September 16 to further the YWCA mission Eliminating Racism.
The Diez y Seis Forum explores the understanding of cultures. This exploration increases our ability to accept others whom we may perceive as different.
Diez y Seis Forum is sponsored by the YWCA Racial Justice Committee. The Racial Justice Committee furthers the YWCA mission Eliminating Racism Empowering Women by
- Assessing the community’s attitude toward cultural diversity, and by
- Providing opportunities for cultural diversity training.
